What Our Students Say
Frequently Asked Questions
What countries can I study in through SSE?
SSE Consultants helps students apply to the UK, USA, New Zealand, Ireland, France, Lithuania, Germany, Australia and other European destinations. Tell us your preferred country and our counsellors will guide you from application to visa.
Do I need IELTS to study abroad?
It depends on the country and university. Many UK universities accept students without IELTS through alternatives like Duolingo, a Medium of Instruction letter, or an interview. For the USA, TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo is usually required. Share your profile and we will check the best option for you.
What documents do I need to apply?
You generally need your passport, academic transcripts and certificates, CV, statement of purpose, recommendation letters, English test result (if required) and financial proof. The exact list depends on the country and university. Our counsellors give you a personal checklist.
How much does studying in the UK cost?
Tuition fees vary by university and course, and living costs vary by city. London is more expensive than other UK cities. Book a free consultation and we will give you an exact estimate for your chosen course and budget.
How long does the visa process take?
After you receive your admission, the visa process usually takes a few weeks, depending on the embassy and country. SSE guides you through every step, including documents, interview preparation and tracking.
What is the eligibility for studying in the UK?
For the UK, most universities look for a minimum of 60 to 65 percent in academics, along with English proficiency and proof that you can support your studies financially. Requirements vary by university and course.
Can I work while studying abroad?
In the UK, international students can usually work part time during their studies and full time during holidays, and a post-study work visa is available after graduation. Rules vary by country and visa type, so ask our counsellors about your destination.
Does SSE charge for consultation?
Your first consultation with SSE Consultants is free. You can book it through the consultation form on this website or message us on WhatsApp.
How do I book a free consultation?
Use the Book a Free Consultation form on this website, or message us on WhatsApp using the green button. Our team will confirm your slot.
What is the best time to apply?
Apply 6 to 9 months before your intended intake. The main intakes are September and January. Applying early gives you better chances for admission and scholarships.
Can I change my course or university after applying?
It often depends on how far your application has gone. Before the visa stage, changes are usually possible. Contact our counsellors and they will tell you the best option for your case.
Does SSE help with scholarships?
Yes. Our counsellors check which merit-based scholarships and fee discounts you qualify for, and help you apply for them where available.
Where are SSE offices located?
Our main office is in Peshawar at Office E 11-12, 3rd Floor, Block A, New Spinzer IT Tower, University Road. We also have an Islamabad office. Phone numbers and the office map are on the Contact page.
